This print insertion from yesteryear wasn’t meant for little guys like you and me though, friend. It was intended for Fortune 500 head honchos who prowled the pages of print before the Web was a twinkle in Tim Berners-Lee’s eye.
Never before did an advertising campaign trigger such a migration of big business away the American Mainland, to a tiny island commonwealth no less.
As a LOVER and archivist of print advertising for a few decades now, (dang I’m getting old)
DON’T discount print!
Sure, newspaper print advertising is on its way OUT in the States, BUT the technique of print will never die.
